The FAB&PP Poem of the Month for December 2021
unpleasant
sounds pigeons
inside
crapping on
the
floor
commuters
travelers
breakfast waiting
at the
counter
phones off laptops
on display
devices ready to
intrude
onto
neighboring
spaces
the shadow
of the
centenary
rippling
across the
embankment
footwear
and
eyes
are
all one can
go on
(yoga pants and
sweats
not
withstanding)
though
rudeness
can overtake them
so this
is the
morning I've been
waiting
for
weep
and
three
little foxes
more stops
but now
on
the way
home
