The FAB&PP Poem of the Month for May 2018

a poem entitled:
'There's No Such Thing as a Bad Juxtaposition'

he spends his days
watching old films
of steam
trains dragging
coal to Sandusky

imaging the
Nickel Plate and
Pennsy still
chugging

*

at night
with restless feet moving
under the sheet

a toe
nail snags

so why is it
to difficulty to
figure out

which one
                 [and]

file it
away

*

he straightens up
slowly
imagining the last
time
       and the
time
       before that
