The FAB&PP Poem of the Month for June 2003

once i
left it was like
i
was never
there

peeking
into time
again waiting
for the end
of the
after
noon

once i
arrived it was
like
i never
left

watching the
marbelized
re
flections

waiting
for the
sixth
digit to
fall
in the
night
       like
the last
tumbler in
heaven’s
lock

open
sez me

and once
the lights
go out
it’s only
a dream
‘til dawn
